I think we all owe Daniel Mortimer a pat on the back today.

After the dust settled on the shit sandwich that was our victory yesterday, I made the realisation that had he held onto the ball and scored his 2nd try, lol@50uff$ would be in the 8 right now.

Dutifully he chose to drop it instead and keep them in the glory of 9th

ahh... i love all the souffs fans coming and giving stick back after one win..

congratulations lads.. you've won a game...

however.. that's ONE game out of the six that your 'saviour' has been coaching you for..

and you're still in the bottom half of the ladder..

needless to say, nothing beats the gloating we saw in the back end of 2011...

Interesting seeing Gandalf and the Rabbletoh army out at the OAK panthers home ground when historic Homebush is empty on their home games.

You are all just jealous of Souths achievements over the years. I hope they tear shreds off the Broncos this weekend for starters and then the whole lot of yas...Kharma is coming! (Forget about Konin)

I'm extremely jealous of the rabbletohs. To beat the might of Annandale, Glebe and University for half their titles is a worthy performance and the main reason souths are famously called the joke of the league.

Yeah. The ability to turn a premiership powerhouse into a bumbling disaster reaching depths of utter failure unimaginable by most. Thats something to be jealous of

Hey man don't blame the Broncos. We haven't knocked you out of many (any?) finals series since we've been around.

They've only made it twice. Its a very select group who have knocked Souths out since 88.

Canberra and Manly.

Thats it.

Don't forget the infamous 1909 debacle where they won by sending in their reserve grade side after agreeing with Balmain to boycott the match.

Uni were the only team of those 3 to ever challenge Souths for a premiership title you dope.... and they lost.

In any case, Annandale, Glebe and University >>>>> Furner's Faders

OK lets... '89 minor premiers, so it went better than Stain's 2011 season, especially round 21 at brokeback stadium in Wollongong

Snap. You got me. I remember that game clearly.

I have to admit, I have no fuggin idea what happened in 1972, which was the last time Souths were defending premiers.

Apparently modern great Brad Fittler was born that year on February 5th. Fittler won 2 comps in his career which began, ironically, in 1989, but has been retired for near on a decade after a 336 game career.

Thats a lot of life he's lived. And he's never seen Souths in a GF, let alone winning one.

You hold on to Rd 21 last year mate. It got youse the coveted 9th spot after all.
