Had a phone call on my mobile 30 mins ago , someone claiming to be darius boyd LOL calling from the dragons and wanting to know am i interested in being an dragons member. So i played along thinking it was a joke asking him was he aware of any rumours about him going back to the broncos ,

his reply heard something but they were only that , has no reason to break the contract with the dragons

ask him what position is he playing still at fullback, and does he know who is going to be wingers and centres

his reply was fullback , wingers and centres may change only if wayne sees a reason for it

ask him how long is he(darius) going to stay with the dragons,

reply if wayne feels he (darius) should stay at the dragons he will

then the phone disconnected lol

It all sounds plausible enough, not that that makes it real obviously. Other teams have been doing it for a while now...the Roosters for example come to mind.

Does this mean that Red V members would not get the call?

A guy at the Raiders group claimed Dane Tilse called him on the phone asking him to become a member/renew his membership for 2010. Therefore, it may have been Darius!

If 'Darius' answered your questions with only a word or two, then it's undoubtedly him.
Otherwise, probably not. Just ol' Kwigs or someone else mucking about.
