I was reading an article in the SMH not too long ago, and I came accross this:

The first collective bargaining agreement between the NRL and the Rugby League Professionals Association was lodged yesterday with the Australian Industrial Relations Commission. All 15 clubs, including Sydney Roosters, have signed the historic document.

Just weird how they say "Including Sydney Roosters" but not any other team

It's not really. If you'd been following this story, then you'd know that the roosters more than any other club have been quite vocal in their opposition to the bargaining agreement. Thats why they mentioned them, they refused to sign it for a very long time, so the fact they have finally agreed and allowed the thing to pass warrents their mention.

Why didn't they sign it in the first place warrants a mention too.

They went on about it for ages and the fact that they have finally agreed was probably enough without writing another series of articles on which issues in the agreement the roosters disagreed with...

As I said in earlier threads on this, the Roosters will delay the signing until after the GF.

This means that all player payments records for the 2004 season will not be included in the auditing provisions.
