London Broncos New Owners Finally Found?

That's a massive squad, they've definitely got depth in terms of numbers. I suppose the biggest question mark over the Broncos isn't the "can they go unbeaten?" but more realistically, how will so many PNG/Australian players settle and will they adapt to the rough conditions of an English winter during the opening 3 or so months?

The moving in to the facility that was formerly used by London Irish RU is another big step for Broncos. If they can start an academy and/or get an academy licence in the next 12 months, that will be another big step for them.

The point remains but I don’t think they’re on BBC and they’re actually behind a red button but the point remains. All eyes will very much be on them and I think it will be a good game.

Well if you do a good job at the London Broncos Jason you might get another opportunity
This was always the likely outcome. I remember in one of the earlier interviews Lockyer and Wechsel were pretty clear that Jason agreed to three years at the London Broncos, no matter what grade they're in. How Wechsel said it made me think that he didn't think Jason would stay any longer than that. Contract lines up to when the Chiefs hit the NRL.

I assume if the Broncos are a success by then, Eccles or Ward would be well positioned to take over from Demetriou

Eccles was a reluctant coach. He stepped in when London went part time and kept the job. He’s a director of rugby type, which is his role now. Danny Ward may be the next in line though London may be looking at bigger names by that point.

Ward is a good coach and a big part of hkr’s success last year. He’d be the obvious replacement choice you’d think.
