For those of you who haven't watched the show, watching the first 2 seasons would help you as there will be a couple of concepts in the roles related to the show. For the most part though this will be pretty easy to follow and will mostly ignore the last 4 seasons.

The whole everyones dead thing was misconstrued. They were all alive on the island but when they died on the show, or years later, they all met in purgatory and moved on to the afterlife together. This will not be featured in the game

The initial concept of flashbacks worked initially, but then started to grow tiresome so they changed it to flash forwards, and then flash sideways which was really the place they all met up in before moving onto the next life. Everything that happened outside the flashes actually did happen, they just added an unnecessary wanky ending to it.
