Sad to hear about Kepaoa

Blaize continues to make errors, I won't right him off, but he isn't anywhere near ready. We have a real issue with replacing Luai.

What was Kepaoa injury? Serious?
Looked like an ankle. Didn’t come back on so not good for him.

Shame because he been very good and unlike others in the NSW Cup side was surely putting some pressure on our outside backs particularly with To’o likely to be out now for an extended period.

I hope those of you wishing for numerous of our underperforming NRL side to be dropped are watching our NSW Cup side at the moment. Getting thumped by the 11th placed North Sydney Bears at HT 22-6. The only player who comes away with a pass after the first 40 would be Billy Phillips. Of those with NRL experience NO ONE did anything to put any pressure on our out of form NRL players. I won’t bother going thru them individually I’ll see what the second half delivers.

Interesting side note in the first half, early on Kepaoa took an intercrpt a couple of metres out from our own line and looked certain to run away and score. Nope half the Bears side gave chase and got to Kepaoa 10 metres from the line. A couple of minutes later Joe Chan (contracted to Storm) a second rower picked up a batt back a couple of metres out from his line and run the 100 to score. The only back to give chase was Sam Lane he gave up around the halfway. Mav Geyer came from the other side of the field and while never going to get Chan at least never gave up. Make of it what you will.
