I wonder if Alamoti being played at centre suggests his dropping was more about getting him a few games at centre to solve a first grade problem.. Ivan will almost always play a guy in his intended first grade position if he’s in Cup.

Cole at fullback made an important cover tackle. If the Eels scored in that set would have been a 4 point game.

Thanks he seems like a decent prospect for the edgebased on his flegg form, seems to be a gun goal kicker also.

Theres nothing in this nsw cup team thats nrl standard.

That includes cole, mclean, geyer, hassett and the rest..

Sommo is a half decent fill in but hes never going to be star nrl hooker..

The club was certain cole and hassett would be stars but they both dont have what it takes.. cole lacks and sort of speed or power and hassett is just way to small..

It boggles my mind with penrith that we can have the area we do to recruit from and we lack size.

All the 2nd rowers coming through and in cup and they are all the same as our nrl team.

Not a single pulutea or pritchard or kikau out there begs belief.

I would be more confident in next year if we had guys knocking the door down in cup but there simply isnt.

Kikau was from Fiji/NQ. So we haven't had a Pritchard or Puletua here for a very long time.
