Flegg we lost 18-16, the score flattered us

P/L we won 23-22 after we were down 22-0 at half time, we were woeful in the first half bar Keating, he was very good, even in the first half, we should have had 2 tries in the first half, both set up by Keating but we blew them.....

Michael Lett also did his best to screw up a try, but we scored anyway, he pulled a Wade....although in praise of him though, he has great footwork, but he certainly aint a fullback!!!

Keating played very well and kicked the field goal. I thought Lett was very good also. Inu scored a great try all by himself and also got 10 minutes in the bin late in that first half.

Junior and Fa'aoso were our best forwards.

I though Fa'aoso's hands really let him down again, he bombed a certain try in the first half!!

Maloney is very ordinary imo, i haven't really seem much good from him. Weller had an off night, Lowrie was decent, K Keating was brilliant, Paulo was very strong, Lett had his best game so far. Etu was also very strong, i would have him ahead of Reddy tbh for first grade winger. Inu and Taulima were solid. Taia was solid. David Williams didn't play much of the game but again he was strong and scored a try.

I am very dissapointed with Tsoulos, for a man of his size, he just doesn't run hard enough on a consistent basis, he also has no latteral movement and often gets run past by the dummy half!!

Matt Keating and Storer both bring something different to the game, i like their rotation.

First half was really depressing, they certainly know how to come back though!!!

thanks Korny,

Weller was also dissapointing last week I thought and JT is on borrowed time at the club, badly needs a change of scenery

I have to agree with both comments on Weller and JT.....imo opinion JT would be good for the Dogs

I dont know if anyone else saw that Flegg game here. But it was played with the intensity of first grade, was an amazing match.

Penrith vs Parra Flegg Grand Final IMO.

From the sound of it I don't think so. Why he was ever played at lock is beyond me. He could play nrl this year, mullane has done it and they are the same age I believe.

mmm!! give him 3 months in pl atleast...he has had a feel for NRL in the trials last year against Melbourne I think but he really needs to convince me a little further before we throw him this year.

it was a f**ked up decision to put him at lock last year, it's not that he didn't handle it it's just a different role to what he's normally used to, in Pezets defense he was running short of forwards infact he only really had one forward who would regularly come of the bench for most of that comp and that was Poenek until the SG Ball forwards come up.
