Repeating myself, but:

Best of luck Todd, and I sincerely hope the compassionate grounds release was not for too serious a situation.

You copped a raw deal from some losers on talkback, but some of us more rational fans understood you played to the best of your ability and brought much-needed experience and professionalism to the club during your short stay.

So... Taukauiaho, Packer and Lowrie gone. Word is two more releases to come. Must be getting some coin together...

"Compassionate Grounds" is the new NRL term for "I'm not happy here and all these mofos in NZ scare me." ask Milford or Barba

Saving face me thinks LOL, if it's true however of course I take it all back :p

So who are we collecting this coinage for? Are we signing someone else big?

Not overly fussed over this one.
I hope whatever compassionate grounds it is, it isn't too serious for the bloke.
To be fair, he always gave his all.

2 more releases people are saying? I'm predicting Lousi's and/or Ropati?

Be interesting to see who we bring in

You thinks wrong.
By reading the Press release you can see it is a genuine reason.

Lowrie wasnt no superstar but seemed like a good bloke (from talkback).

What about some of those clowns on facebook - bagging the bloke left, right and centre.

Ropati hasnt even been signed has he?
He was off contract and they had article that he might retire

Why would they get rid of Lousis? Both had injury riddled season.
Would be on 2nd tier deals.

good value - I would keep them for 2014 then see how they go

new signing criteria ?

No - but no reason for people to but the boot in.
Especially if it is for compassionate grounds.

If he hadnt of got injured ...he probably would of been a decen fit at 13....but once Taylor showed a bit of form. Lowrie didnt offer anything from bench.

13 or nothing imo

Good luck Todd, hope that whatever the compassionate reasons are they aren't too serious and that everything works out ok.

Taylor was always a level above Lowrie, he came from Melbourne with a big rep but failed to deliver.

good luck to the guy but no loss imo..
