I hope Cooper gives it a real shake playing at the back in the trials - and by all reports he will more than likely be there for the season opener.

Pictures you posted elsewhere without permission. That's called breaking the law. Either way, your post has been reported accordingly. As EA said - reducing yourself to THAT level to get the upper hand in an argument is beyond idiotic, and just plain and downright a low act.

I won't make it to the Sharkies v Souths trial but both have a lot to play for IMO, it will be interesting to see how they both stack up. It'll be intriguing to see Roy running around in Soufs colours and also how Sticky's off-season work has changed the Cronulla side.

Timmah, if you stopped hijacking threads, you wouldn't set yourself up as a target. Simple.

Whatever your reasoning, bringing family into it and posting pics without permission is a no-no. You've effectively given Timmah the high moral ground... something he yearns for.

Obviously being a trial - it speaks for itself.

But with regard to the effects you mention of Ricky's influence in the off season - 'attitude' will be the factor im looking to the most, rather than the end result.

Back on topic, being serious, I do hope Cronulla make something of it this year - for their sake top 8 if not top 4, and really challenge for a GF spot. I dislike the team but they do try and eventually should earn some success ;-)

I don't think the attitude itself is the problem TBH... it's the maintenance of that attitude. The club goes so well til halfway through the season and seems to get complacent. It'll be interesting to see if Sticky can keep that going throughout the whole year. As I seriously said and meant - good luck to Cronulla, they deserve a good shot at it.

I think Cronullas season hinges on whether Ricky Stuart and Kimmorley can work together.

That's another massive factor... even some Cronulla fans seem to be suggesting that Noddy will be gone by the 13th round.

I think the downfall last year when they hit the losing streak, was the fact the players were not buying what the coach was selling???

The same players produced the 10 game losing streak - that won 8 from 9, minus Simmo.

** ducks head **

and the reunification of the dreaded halves pairing, who played an individual game each, rather than a structured game together.

Which does fall back on attitude. Take the Penrith game, up 28 - 8 with 15 to go, and the rest is a side that just didnt believe.

I too hope for improvement for this year - that shouldn't be hard on 06.

I think DPG has a crush on Timmah. After all, he's made the effort to troll around and find pictures. What a stalker.

Do you honestly take a disliking someone on a forum that seriously? Gosh... and I'm the one with no life.

Any more problems dude take it to the fight club. Even I've diverted off hijacking this thread now, I've had my fun but you're the one who took it a step too far.

I honestly think the team performs better WITHOUT Noddy... and I really think he has an attitude problem that has the rest of the team... That's pure speculation on my part but justified IMO. I don't know how many Cronulla supporters (and players for that matter) actually want him there :?

I cant seriously argue that - stats for 06 prove it.

I would throw in frustration as well, and not just him. He gives 110%, no doubt, but that does not bring you the win.

If Ricky provides more options for the halves - such as players in motion around them, structured game plans where you dont have to score every set of six, etc - he 'may' find a spark that is needed, along with the fact this year he is under a coach that craps on the previous, and he is playing for a contract - not neccessarily at Sharks. So its an important season for him.

If the supporters had their way - he would have probably been hung, then stoned by now.

I hope he does turn his form around, i hope he 'plays with' Dykes, i just love the word 'hope'. But the 2 of them have the experience to at least try - if not, time for changes. But i would like to see the combination given a chance under the new coach.

Cronulla premformed best when Vagana was in the 6. Sticky has a deacent forwards back, some... ok backs and a f**king huge problem in the halves.

I'm with a few others, I think we'll almost certainly see Noddy walk by the halfway mark if not a little after.
