I've gone for

Craig Gower - He has to be in the squad somewhere & his utility value makes him the perfect bench candidate.

Petero Civoneciva - Many have stated he was a destabilising influence while he was here, but he is still the best prop we have ever had. Maybe he figured the lunatics needed to run the asylum because those that were supposed to run it were semi geniused.

Bill Ashhurst - Freak of a player.

Tony Puletua - On his day arguably one of the most damaging players of his time. Bonus points for being able to play anywhere in the pack.

Honourable mentions to all 13 other players on the list. None of them would be bad options.

Since this team won't actually run on the field, it's more of a tribute. Therefore, I won't be choosing guys like Petero on the bench. Guys like Gower and Lewis need to be there, not necessarily a bunch of Props.

I'd suggest both Gower and Lewis deserve to be on the bench on merit rather than tribute. Both are not far off our best in their favorite position plus have strong secondary positions.

I went for more of a realistic bench for a team you would play. Not worrying about size Lewis would come in for Petero.

I think you'd find that Lewis and Petero would tip the scales in the same ballpark. I'm guessing......108.
