Remember when someone said Foxsports weren’t going to be bidding for the nrl ?
This guy said it a few days before your post:
Anyone heard about Foxsports not being interested in bidding for the next tv deal

Very interesting, basically get big or get out.
As I mentioned earlier those running the game would have been discussing these trends for years, and it`s probably why we are seeing this belated push to internationalize the game, to make us more relevant to the big sports broadcasting companies who are after global content.
Hope we are not going to pay a price for our tardiness on this front now.
What price now for not having a bit of foresight on having teams like Toronto in our competition and our neglect of growing the game.
Thanks for the update mateBig news if It go's ahead.. Notice CEO Telstra Vicky Whatever said it looks like they will sell also....right price ..asett can be sold...Monday is the deadline.

Agreed. Like you, I’m sure, I’m heartily sick of waiting for any decision about anything in our game. Bloody frustrating. They'd hopefully have a presser when announced and list their intentions.
WWE content leaving next week
HBO stuff in a few months
Maybe Fox sports is all they want. Maybe less but the sooner it is sorted the better

If DAZN do get Foxtel with all of DAZN`s sports content plus what Foxtel has it is going to make life very tough for their streaming competitors like Stan in OZ.Big news if It go's ahead.. The timing could be perfect for NRL, a desperate Nine/ Stan and 10/Paramount up against a cashed-up DAZN.
