SNOWBALL!!!!!!

I remember he kicked about 15 conversions in a row and that was his 15 minutes of fame up. That's 1 min/kick. Hope he enjoyed it.

Doesn't Doherty still play for Mt Albert? I remember seeing him in a curtain-raiser a couple of seasons back.
Ivan Cleary all the way for mine. Ridge was equally talented but hampered by injury and ill-discipline, while Webb is probably the most talented of the three but yet to really mature, plus his kicking is not up to their standard.

All rounder would have to be Cleary.

Ridge was talented and could kick but was a great player cos he couldn't control himself.

Lee Oudenryn? Why is he there..a very fast player, but not too shit hot on ball skills.

Webby, still developing

For me it's a toss up between Cleary and Phil Blake.
Cleary's kicking abilities, outstanding. Blake's general play.. better

surprised you havnt got the smurf on yr list wob :D

ridgey for me.
while he was with manly he was the undisputed best in the world. best attacking, best under the high ball, best defender.
when he played for us he was the disputed best in the world,, he still had what it takes but there was too much pressure on the guy as captain and as senior player/player spokesman.

the warriors killed ridgey

makes no dif if the guy was a scumbag off field,, he was brilliant on...

Brent Webb. About 21 tries from 45 appearances. Thats one hell of a strike rate. He offers more in attack than Cleary and Ridge, plus his improve has improve.

Ivan Cleary.

Seeing as this is basically the 10 year anniversary of the club, we should start up a poll for each position to find out the Warriors "team of the decade" at LU.

I know a lot of tries would have been scored if it weren't for Webb's positional play this season. When an opposing player breaks the line 8-9 times out of 10 you can bet Webb will be there to cut them down.

His kick returns are a little average, but he makes up for it in support play. I think some people need to be less critical of him. I honestly can't see what some of you are getting at saying he isn't a fullback's arsehole, I don't need to name names eh Ozbash ;-)

Cleary for me, too.
Phil Blake in his prime was the most talented, but we never got him in his prime, nor was he a specialist fullback.
Ridgey was great for Manly, but an expensive liability at the Warriors, given how much time he spent injured & suspended.
Hard to say with Webb, he still needs to mature & gain a few more strings to his bow, but is a very promising talent.
