It'll be very interesting to see what the Tigers do when Latu is available, which should be soon hopefully.
If they don't pick him to partner Luai then the club is sending a message that they will be sticking with Galvin, no matter what, for the next year and a half. Basically they'll be saying that they believe Galvin is better than Latu, and that Latu isn't worth the chance at first grade, even though Galvin will be out the door at the first available opportunity.
I've made it clear that as soon as Latu is right to go he should be brought in to 1st grade and Galvin dumped back to reggies. If we don't do this, I'd expect Latu to request the option to look elsewhere. For me, it's better to look after the future than the present, if the present doesn't want to be here.
If they do keep Galvin in first grade we'll probably end up losing him and Latu. A cynical person might then think that Galvin was being kept in 1st grade to avoid having the threat to sue the club turn into an actual court case.
