That’s why I said they would be glad to get rid of him early. Makes more sense to try and trade players with the same amount of time left on contracts. Injuries have crueled his career.
They can’t get rid of him his recovery from his latest ACL was reported as being as long as 16 months so he may not be available to return till mid season 2024. It’s sad, have to feel sorry for any player who suffers so much from serious and potentially career ending injury.

I reckon the Tigers would love to get rid of Doueihi and another player in a swap for Luai. Not saying it will happen.

As for the others, Clifford is terrible and Gamble no better in my opinion. Get Puru or Katoa back if we are looking at young blokes.
I've got a feeling, that Doueihi, will retire maybe even medically retired, next season, he has had 3 major knee injuries 2 in quick succession, though he is pre season training, he is not due back mid to late in the season I believe?
To get Luai, we do not need his money, we have it from Brooks moving on.
Doueihi's money I believe, would be used for AFB?

Tyson gamble is pretty much the only one i could see off that list that would be affordable and suit this club, shaun johnson at cut rate price would be suburb, and nathan would fanboy over him, but its an unrealistic signing, dane lauire is probably our best choice, whatever happened to darren nicholls?

Or Daine Laurie or Jack Cole.

12 months is a long time in footy
I’m not sure how that fits into the no risk four year deal to Jerome you seem comfortable with.

We clearly have different views on what the club should do around Jerome and I have no issues with that. Opinions I guess.

I still think Brad Schneider might surprise us and become a legitimate chance to play the 5/8 role in 2025. I know his runs on the board pertain to his Super League form but if he stands out, like SOS & Cogger did, he could be the answer. Plus we have him for two years so 2024 will be an interesting year in terms of who could replace Luai.

Wasn’t that a great theme.

Fond memories of watching Benny Hill growing up. Very dated now but great back in the day.

So many great British comedies from the 1960’s and 1970’s shame they have all fallen victim of cancel culture and the woke world.
Yeah. You can't find "love thy Neighbour" or "It aint half hot mum" on any streaming service.

All TV shows have a life span......the shows you've mentioned I find them quite embarrassing to be honest.

Social and cultural mores have changed for the better. Thankfully.

As I said Alice, they are dated now. Doesn’t mean they need to be cancelled. If there are people out there who would enjoy watching them, good for them.

In certain states in the greatest nation on earth ( they once may have been ) they teach children critical race theory and have ‘drag’ shows as part of the curriculum for pre high school students. How does that sit with the social and culture issues. Children as young as twelve can choose to undergo gender change surgery without there parents permission how does that one stand the test of common sense.

Cancelling comedy is only a small part of the problem the extreme left are forcing upon us in the modern world.

What are you talking about??? Jerome is leaving, obviously I’d prefer he didn’t, but he is.

So we need to move on, internally, Laurie and Cole are the most obvious replacements.

Externally, I’m yet to see any viable options as a replacement.

Do try and keep up.
