All those who want us to chase this big softie should be happy as he probably dropped his price by $50k tonight. Him and his buddy Ryles were barely sighted during the softening up period.

He's no Stevo and he's not an adequate replacement.

Agreed I wasn't impressed at all after Carl Webb belted him he was no where to be seen. Go around for another year Stevo.

I agree 100% . Stevens is worth a one year contract at the very least, sign him and DO NOT pay the overs for these nuffies.

Stevo has dominated the Dragon's pair almost everytime he's played against them. So has every other pack of forwards come semi final time.

So much for the 'we don't need a bench prop' theory. Nice one Sticky and Gus.

Petero, Price and Webb just killed them. Bailey and Ryles had nothing. O'Meley might have matched them had he been fit, but otherwise tell me Stevo wouldn't have been able to match it?

It's a croc.

O'Mealy was missed. Joel Clinton or Stevo deserve a fair go. Don't see it happening.

Note: fair = More than 21 minutes or whatever that was.

Gotta agree with all that. Watching it at the time I couldn't help comparing the efforts of Stevo this year with what we saw from those guys. They looked lethargic where Stevo has been hitting the line hard and driving through it.

I don't get how he is not rated by the powers-that-be (i.e Gould)

Well as I said, he has to make himself available first. He retired from rep footy while in camp with the City team. They even gave him a party. Fairy bread, pigs in blankets, cocktail frankfurts and rivers of Mynor fruit punch were said to of been consumed.

They played pin the tail on the donkey and everything.

Gould was the ass.

I thought Bailey did OK, Ryles was missing leaving Bailey as the only prop to take on QLDs huge pack.

Stevens & Clinton

I would probably agree with that. Although in the past 2 years it seems to be the Sharks players that crumble, Kimmorley this year, Stevens last year.

I dont know honestly.

Clinton reminds me of Martin Lang. He's always running straight and hard, something Bailey does probably once every 6 hit-ups.

When is he off contract???
