I thought he went OK for his first game. And GatesheadThunder, you are talking out of your anus. Luke was wanted by Leeds but was only given a few days to sign the contract. When he said he wanted more time the contract was pulled and he was dropped. Before that he was one of our best preforming props each week. As for today he made 4 tackles in a row in his 1st set on the field. Continually took the ball up, and made some nice metres. He will improve week on week too. The bloke had just travelled round the world too remember.

Exactly my thoughts, was involved and worked hard. Happy to have another luke stuart-like player in our team.

Was happy with his performance. Did better than most of the forwards in our team

Considering it was his first game for Souths in the NRL after being in the country less than two weeks , good job.
He did not try to offload , which shows some patience .
Tried to take the line on and did ok in defence.
Just needs to learn about the stripping rule and showed enough to suggest he will be a handy old fashioned big prop who can hold the middle.
