Missa, losing and not showing any heart on the field is what most people on here were annoyed about
Tonight Parramatta showed the heart and deservedly get praised for the effort in turning things around

Burt had a shocker, but because he scored a try, to win the game, he is a hero.

How about you all re-watch the game, and THEN put his performance into context.

Your being pretty harsh there, he made the obvious blunder to start with but the rest of his game was OK.

OK, the word shocker might be a bit harsh, but he played average at best.
I have trouble though coming on here afterwards and seeing him made out to be a hero after such and average performance.
Seriously, if he hadn't have scored that try, would anyone have mentioned him at all??

No, we would have been talkin about Smithy

In all seriousness he was neither better nor worse than many others on the field, Hindy excluded of course. It's just that he did score the winning try in the last seconds to win us the game and bring us some joy so for the moment that'll do me.

Fair enough.

You mentioned Hindy of course....that is understandable.

But, I must say, as much crap as I have put on Wagon this season, I'm extremely happy to praise him for a gut busting effort tonight.
Well done Wags.

Totally agree Suity, apart from his goal line miss on Gidley, Wags busted his arse. Actually the whole pack played more as a unit for once and while not getting carried away with one effort it was still damn good to see. I will also add I had very serious concerns for our 3/4 line defensively but they didn't do too bad at all.

Having said all that I do believe the Knights came out for the 2nd half over confident and played some stupid football but who cares a win is a win.

That is very true.

That is why I am not at all excited about this win.

I can see some positives from the game, but, it was plainly obvious that this was a well below par Knights performance, and we managed a last second victory.

Its a start, and I'll hang on to that hope.

The best I can take out of it is that the win will build our confidence, and from their, our momentum.

Good effort by Burt to get the try but you guys have to be honest he was having an absolute shocker up until the 80th minute. At one stage of the game it was Parramatta 12 - Luke Burt & Matt Petersen 14. I still don't know how we managed to somehow still win that game but i'll take it :D

Parraren,,

Luke Burt, Petersen, and some others were on 14.
Thankfully, someone else has the balls to admit that Burt only did one thing tonight.
