You can add Israel FOLAU to that list, according to the news he is going to be released from the final two years of his contract with GWS to return to the NRL with a Sydney based team. No doubt it will be the Bullcheats, I'm guessing.

This is true however, the Dragons salary cap for 2012 appears to be way underspent and now that the window for this year has closed, we will have to be satisfied with the current squad for the remainder of the 2012 comp.

Cap saved from this year can't be used next year, it is just lost. We really need to sign a few good players before June 30 2012 in order to give us a better chance to address the current problems.

Lewis would be an awesome signing, has played in what every position bar hooker? However I really doubt he is leaving the Panthers just another media beat up for mine, besides Dousty's wallet seems to have a leather prison on it so I won't be getting my hopes up.

There is no way we are signing him. He'll go to Cronulla. He's mates with Gallen, Wade Graham and Michael Gordon. One ex-panther playing there already and the other on his way next season.

And there is no way that we would get smith and lewis.

Mate there's no point in me answering that. Certain people here won't believe it regardless.
You can just choose to or not. Obviously there's chance of it not happening but at this point, he will be in a red v. Ironically it may be the thing that prevents us from signing lewis and allows the sharks to get him.

Time will tell, but the very least our club is finally being mentioned in the same sentence as some quality players (with the chance of things actually eventuating).
