Hi guys.
first off well done on your brillant win in NRL final, good way to see of some of your players.

As a Quins fan im hearing some diffrent kind of rumours about Luke Williamson's . One is hes done some seroius damage to his cruciate ligament and might have to retire at worse or never been the same. and other one is hes just out with minor injury and thats why didnt make final 17 for final but wil be fine for next season over here

Can anyone sort this out for me as dont need our pre-season jinx to happen again like last two seasons :(

cheers a Quins fan

He was fit to play in the GF but couldnt get back in because of the teams great form.
He'll be sweet for you guys.

Certainly hasn't done a cruciate (unless it happened this morning or something while he was celebrating!)

He was in fine form at the victory party, as always, and was walking without any discomfort. His injury was a hammy, and it was quite a bad hammy tear which initially ruled him out for the year but he ended up getting back to fitness before the GF, but couldn't crack back into a winning team. He'll be right to start/join pre-season training the second he hits the tarmac in the Old Dart.

Pretty upsetting for Willow, having been at the club 7 seasons, but I think he appreciated that Des wasn't going to make an emotional decision in GF week.

He's a champion bloke and he'll bring that to the club. And he's still got plenty of footy in his legs. He'll tackle all day and is the definition of a 'team player'.

All the reports in the lead-up to the GF said he was battling a hamstring injury and was a chance to play. If it was a cruciate ligament he would have been gone for the season. He should be right.
