Wasn't Sandow our best signing in a decade too?

I reckon Sandow still is our best signing in a decade. Probably our bst since Dean Pay.

Lussick's a great signing but I doubt he'll ever be considered the best in a decade. Best of 2013 maybe, but you can't really judge a signing until he's been at the club for a few years.

Darcy Lussick at training this week

HE was 18th man in last season's grand final, forced to watch his teammates land the premiership at ANZ Stadium.
Darcy Lussick may be Parramatta bound at season's end, but the chance to snare a premiership ring is driving him during the NRL finals series.

"It was good to play my first finals game, (against the Bulldogs) now I want to finish on a high with my mates," he said.

"There was a lot of hype and we didn't play our best.

"As far as I am concerned, I have three more games in a Manly jersey."

After bursting onto the scene last season, the 23-year-old earnt instant plaudits for his attack and bruising defence.

The Beacon Hill Bears junior has been even better in 2012, turning out in 22 games.

He is relishing the chance to square off against Cowboys enforcers Matt Scott and James Tamou.

"Everyone talks about their outside backs, but they have big blokes up front who always have a dig," he said.

"If we can contain them up the middle it will go a long way towards determining who wins."

his Manly contract would be until November of this year, I'd say he'd be exempt of training until then...
