As if you would want him in the squad anyway as obviously he would play crap as he wouldnt be interested and would try to play to his worse not to get selected again anyway.
its too easy if he is not interested, what makes people think he will be 100% commited and want to perform if selected.

What a joke, just dont pick him its that easy

http://www.foxsports.com.au/story/0,8659,25307225-23209,00.htmlARL knock back Jamie Lyon's bid for exemption from representative football April 08, 2009Manly centre Jamie Lyon has reportedly failed in his bid to be made exempt from selection in this year's representative rugby league teams.A report in this week's Rugby League Week claims Lyon will be stood down from playing for Manly if he refuses to play in any representative teams he is selected in.Lyon informally stood down from selection in 2008 when he told NSW coach Craig Bellamy he was not interested in turning out for the Blues. The former Test star is currently sidelined with a knee injury but has been named by coach Des Hasler to play in Sunday's home game against Wests Tigers.NSW are struggling for depth in the centres following the defection of Mark Gasnier to rugby union last year."The ARL (Australian Rugby League) has specific guidelines players must meet and Jamie fell a little short of them," ARL chief executive Geoff Carr said."Players who have played for 10 years in the NRL are generally granted exemptions and there are other factors such as their age, contribution to representative football and injury records."*AAP
