I think the only outcomes acceptable to Parra officials, players and most fans in order of preference would be: Play the season for parra, Wee Waa, or retire completly. Almost any other outcome would be very disappointing IMHO.

I don't see Fitzgerald leaving the door open for Lyon to be playing for any other NRL club other than Parra next year.

I highly doubt Lyon will want to join Penrith. It's clear he wants out of football not just out of Parramatta, they're just rumours made by stirrers.
