Lyons always been terrible, and his touchie deserves an uppercut for coming in to report the Bird tackle.


It's good to see us get a win, away from home, with a seemingly biased referee doing all he can to get the opposition across the line.


Interesting to see the half-time penalty count too. Especially after Gould and co on the Footy Show dead set gave it to Hayne after the biased display in Canberra last night.

I said it a few times in the spoiler thread. Lyons was terrible. He was terrible overall but he did favour the knights.

That because he generally doesn't get top rate games involving the better teams. So we generally get him when we play teams like SOuths, North Queensland, Manly, etc.

The players must have been pissed off. Steve Lyons questionable knowledge of the game and his lack of refereeing skills should be enough to see him demoted.

The boys did well to get on with the game and get the 2 points.
