You both have a point. Madge was definitely still hungry but his tactics of motivation obviously weren't working anymore. His yelling and screaming wasn't getting the message across. You could tell he was getting desperate as well as he was bringing motivational speakers to training sessions. If it was confirmed that he had loss the dressing room it wouldn't surprise me but it disappoints me that the boys just gave up on him like that. I see fault with the players and Madge.

He did himself no favours last year when he stopped players attending that kids christening. Theres a fine line between being tough and just acting a merkin, the players are people and they will only tolerate so much. As a person who's job it is to manage people you need to make the right calls on issues like that. Once someone goes too far down a bad path as a manger it is very hard to recover from.

Yeah that's a very good point that you make. It is a very fine line and unfortunately Madge stepped over that line. Only thing we can do now is back Seibold and hope that he knows how to get the best out of our players.

Recruitment and retention hasn't been great, but why? Players who leave seem to flourish away from Madge while we struggle to attract talent despite having a top coach in charge. Some players will join a club to play for a Bennett or Bellamy or Robinson yet Madge seemed to lack the same pulling power.

I'm not trying to lay the entire blame with him but hearing the noises from the past few seasons about disgruntled players, it needs to be considered.

He inherited the 2014 roster he cant evolve and better average players like belamy
Training them for fitness and disipline is great but you need position and skills coaching to develop players
Maybe seibold can do this but from what i have noticed nit 1 assistant of bellamys has gone on to replicate him

Who the hell wants a coach like Bellamy? The guy is anti rugby league if we have to win by getting in the refs ear and slowing the play at every chance I would rather we didn't.

Dearest pom im talking about his ability to increase and enhance the ability of ordinary and fringe players into champions not what you carried on about. We have 2 burgi who need enhancement and skills coaching on how to carry balls and leading with their shoulders both in running and tackling
Is there no1 capable at souths to pull them aside and just plain teach them?

Surgess was a great signing anyway. The resigning of the twins and Reynolds on massive $$ was our downfall. Sam has played well above his pay check week in week out.

The Twins are other players not resigned on Richos watch. Everyone is complaining about Richos recruitment but he didn't get a fresh start when he came back he has had to retain and recruituit players with regards to previous signings done in his absence.

Dylan Walker I don't give a f**k about. That dickhead had an overdose and was then complaining about getting punished?
All he had to do was take it like a man, the same as Grey did and that would have been the end of it. There was already rumours of him moving to manly the following season as far as I am concerned he engineered his move after the club fined him.
