Nevermind the fact that the Godfather, Godfather part 2 and Goodfellas are 3 of the best films of all time. The Sopranos is one of the best series to be on television ever. What i'm confused with is what you call "glorification" pretty much every mob movie I have seen ends with a whole bunch of them getting murdered, locked up or some other kind of comeuppance.

Yeah me too, however my flat mate owned all the DVDs so about 6 months ago I watched the lot over about 4-5 weeks. Final series just started in the states which i'm loving at the moment.

When I was a kid I couldnt get into these mafia type movies.
Preferred comedies and porn or porn comedies Light hearted stuff like Porkys.
It took me to my early 20's to watch the Godfather,Scarface,Untouchables etc.
Really enjoyed them but no thoughts of joining a gang.
Still wish I was a pornstar though.

It's on my list of things to buy from JB hi fi mate. Definately want to see what happens in the end, whenever I get around to it. Would be good to have the series so you dont have to f**k around with adds etc. Am looking foward to it when we can afford to buy it. ;-) Just spent a couple hundred at Bunnings today. so a little short. LOL...
