Illias had to go, and I will watch with interest how our kicking game goes. (cause it was pathetic)
Our forwards just have to dominate or at least stay with them, and we are a chance.

I think it's a brave move from the coach going with the three rookies in the starting 13 (I know LKT debuted last year).

Kyle's contributions, especially down the left, have been pretty good so far this year. Although, he's going to have to step into first receiver a lot more now as well. We can only wait and see if this transforms our attack.

I like the forward pack make up.
Young guns Toby, Egan, Stewart all starting, then experience off the bench.
I’m fine with the changes to the backline, I don’t know much about LKT but worth a look, Ilias looked average with the ball.
Unlucky for Finau but he did look all at sea in defence, Allan gets his shot until CTP is back.

- Finau had an absolute SHOCKER in defence and maybe needed another chance but made 3 errors coming out of own 20.
- Illias had to get dropped, though Kyle shouldn’t be far away!! Though in saying that I think Kyle has been the better of the two WHEN he gets involved.
- Been losing the forward battle so moving JDB to come on as impact is good hopefully Stewart & Egan play 80!! Meaning JDB will play front row and luch (he’s lucky to not be following lawrie to reserves)

Cant believe that Finau got dropped, what would that do to his confidence. As for the new halves pairing, well Flanno has raised a few eyebrows there, I wouldn't say KF has been on fire. To me if we are putting LKT at 7, unless KF goes there which is on the cards, then maybe we get Glover beside him and KF to lock. How would Ilias feel, he got promised a starting 7 and 8 weeks into the comp he's in reserves. I think this game will define our season, if the Tigers do a number on us, we can possibly put the cue in the rack for 2025, and once again the merrygoround of questions will begin, if it hasn't already started. I really think with the style the Tigers play with, it will run us into the ground, if we dont have an up tempo game from the start we are ratshit.

I wouldn't have put it quite like that but I can't fathom why KF is listed as 6 and LKT at 7 instead of his current KOE cup 6.

KF has had much more experience at 7
