Personally I'd like to see Holmes at fullback. Imagine having Holmes swinging out the back of both sides of the field with early ball he would be devastating. 1. Holmes 6. Gutho 7. LKT 9. Liddle. LKT needs to be given the keys to run the team and let him build some confidence it will only help us next year and beyond.

@Redvdragons21 is a relatively new member of the forum and is just giving an opinion on team selections.

Lots of us talk about team selections week on week and don't get the third degree from other forum members about who, where, why and how.

FMD he isn't selecting the team mate, he is just putting his two bob worth forward, if you don't like it, fine, just move on.

Do you not want to see new members on the forum? It would appear that way with the way you're harassing this bloke like some desperardo.

Then all of a sudden it was gone and back to waiting for the ball runner.
I looked at the clock and they hadn't even lasted a whole 4 minutes!!

Sloan's non attempt at tackle on Staines was the most disappointing of all.
Not sure why Suli is turning his back on the ball in the air, and not sure why Gutho was way over on the other side of the field and not in a position to assist.

We have to do something about our defence...linespeed, aggression, commitment, formation etc.
It will flow through and improve all the other parts of our game if we are not always giving time, space and field position to the other team.

The most frustrating game I have watched and the first time I have ever switched off before half time.
I am tempted to watch a recording because apparently we made 12 linebreaks to WT 2 but I am cautious as I am not sure I can take much more stress and frustration.

Sums up following the Dragons for the last decade. Even the best possible outcomes have the worst results. Drop the ball over the try line, other team picks it up & scores. Have a bbq with a few team mates but it's against covid protocols. Sign up the most exciting local prospect to a long term deal, he requests going to the eels halfway through the deal. Pick Shane Flanagan, end up with his son as our halfback. f**k.

Btw I thought we played well for most parts of the game, our errors unfortunately led directly to tries. West tigers got very lucky with their rushed 5th tackle options.

It was way more than 10 mins but it showed we can do it, we need to build on that this week. Not just the line speed but also the force in our tackles was awesome. There's hope & positive signs. We rushed their kickers on 5th tackle but they were still able to put in some good kicks. A bit flukey on their part imo. We need to compete on catches with our attacking kicks though, Tigers did it all game & it led to some errors.

I've seen a few doom & gloom comments & views across social media that aren't justified based on that performance.

To be fair the strike power is there. We scored 28 points last night and bombed several opportunities. 28 should be enough to win most games of football and scoring mid 20’s hasn’t been enough 3 times this year.

Unbelievably dumb errors. Repeatedly.
Poor defence.

Fix even just the last two things on that list and we’re in the top 4.

Easy to bag Flanno but he must just tear his hair out watching the amount of stupid this team is capable of. To be honest if I was him I’d be getting my manager on the hunt for a new team to coach. We’re just the dumbest team in the comp. I can’t believe how hard it is to flush over a decade’s worth of mediocrity and losing culture out of our system.
This team plays like all the players have had lobotomies.

It’s depressing stuff and I see he’s a resilient man who likes to win but it’s getting to him coaching us.

I fully respect posters in here who post both positive and negative, who post after losses to vent and after wins to celebrate.
Why anyone would want to just pile on after losses and go missing after wins is just pathetic, it’s sad actually.

Anyway, so disappointed with that loss yesterday, FMD dropping the ball has become the norm. It’s a confidence thing, they’ve completely lost the plot I reckon.
Their attack was superior, their defence was superior, but they just dropped the fricken ball all day!!!
So frustrating, and worrying, big time.

That’s why it’s so weird.
