No league player or administrator could possible be dodgey, it must be a media driven plot to besmirch the good name of league. I see it all now, it is all a plot by news limited to ruin our game to force the price of the next tv deal down. If we look closely enough I bet the AFL is behind all this in some shape or form. Hell, Magnay has had it in for Zappia since day one, this is more agenda driven bullsh*t that quite frankly I and many other league fans are getting sick of.

Come on El, Brutus and anyone else who wants a crack at it, I am counting on you all to put all the pieces together and somehow deflect the blame away from league and shift it elsewhere. :lol:

As I said earlier in this thread, I'd bet that Kate McClymont was the one who put all the threads in this story together rather than Jaqueline Magnay.

There only source is one unknown person, and by the tone of the article they couldnt find any facts to back up this claim, hence why there are words used such as 'May have been involved' etc. Give us some facts then we'll start talking about any possible penalties.

ridiculous how journos are always the ones uncovering this rubbish. Makes you wonder what the extent of this sort of thing is. If the journo who uncovers it likes the club or has an interest in a club they find to be cheating, they could easily decide to remain tight lipped. Something needs to be done about the entire process if these allegations turn out correct, coz its plain obvious the NRL is doing nothing to uncover under-the-table deals going on in the competition.

Don't kid yourself.. journos are in it for themselves.
