Grade 1 tripping is 75 points.

He is a clean skin, early guilty plea and he should be free to play

Up to the MRC.

Soft as anything, can't stand the Roosters (well most of them) but if that is worth a charge they are kidding.

It looked like he just threw his feet out intictively but if he doesn't get a few weeks it's a disgrace. There was nothing in it but they have punish him regardless.

So on the one hand there was nothing in it. But on the other he deserves 3 weeks?

Curious. Very curious.

Wasn't far off old mates little fellas. Might be lucky that he didn't connect. If he'd gone down hurt as a result I don't think they'd be as lenient as they are probably going to be.

I don't think tripping has any place in the game and any charge should be at least 100 points (with a plea of guilty). However, based on the precedent the NRL have set, Maloney will cop a Grade One charge which should see him play next week.

If Reynolds on Barba is a Grade 2, then this was easily a Grade 1.
