After the toughest week of his career, Sione Faumuina turned down four lucrative offers to leave the Warriors and will stay at the rugby league club.

Faumuina had felt he was being forced out and discussed a release with the club's management.
He then fielded unsolicited bids - some of which would have doubled his salary - from three Super League clubs and NRL big spenders Manly, who all wanted him to quit the Warriors with a year to run on his contract.
Faumuina feared the declining number of Polynesian players and the shortlived experiment of playing him at standoff were signals his time was limited at Mt Smart.
"I thought I was on my way out of the club," he said. "I knew they were getting rid of Richard Villasanti and Toops (Clinton Toopi) and then Webby (Brent Webb) was going, and I thought I would be heading along those lines as well."
Faumuina is now "100% committed" to the club after being reassured by chief executive Wayne Scurrah and football director John Hart that he has a future with the Warriors.
Faumuina was under siege from the media all last week but broke his silence to speak exclusively to the Sunday Star-Times to set the record straight. He said he had found it hard even to leave his house since an incident at Awen Guttenbeil's testimonial dinner was made public, and said his family had been under severe strain.
"I feel for my family more than for myself. It has been tough on my father, he is a very staunch man. It has been hard for him.
"Sometimes it feels a bit unfair - when I got to a bar and have a beer in my hand, I feel that everyone is watching me."
