I know it was our reserve grade pack but you said before the gam
Even without our origin forwards we'll still beat them.
Have a look at the two teams side by side and then tell me why we can't win.
If anyone is overconfident it's the Manly supporters.

I agree that both those teams may not have had the hardest of schedules but the Dragons did beat us at full strength. Like you said when we play them at full strength it will be a better gauge of how we sit compared to them.

settle down beerad. If your not careful you may give the impression that there are some lvel headed easts fans out there.
and to the survivor.... please excuse me now while i go and watch my team again on fox retain their spot at the top of the ladder against a weekened titans.
Oh by the way has it escaped your attention that we were also missing 2.75 players from our top squad. No King, williamson and lost Mattai 10 in. That is all.

So did the Knights but it was pretty obvious that we were flat. I can't wait till we play Manly next, It will be an even playing field and I'll be very interested to see how Manly stacks up against our A team. As I said if Manly can beat our top side then I'll gladly congratulate them and state that they are a very good side.

King was going better than Kite and Perry before he got injured. Williamson is the cornerstone of our defence. Both play important roles for our club.

Your team is not as good as you think they are.

Are you the full quid mate? Did you see your team in games like against the Dragons and the Knights (when fat boy brushed 'Big Willie')?

Roosters are a very real chance at making the Grand Final, but they are no more likely than Manly.

Manly's pack is underrated whereas the Roosters (albeit a very strong pack) is largely overrated (Mason lucky to have one good game in three, O'Meley - although better during Origin period - is similar, Myles gone for six weeks...)

Manly can't do a bloody thing without being criticised haha. It's brilliant. As I see it, Manly are just a very consistent team. Not the best pack. Not the best halves. Not the greatest backline, but they go for 80 minutes and make the most of their chances and work hard on things they can control (defence, completing sets, keeping the ball alive). I don't have them in the top bracket with Melbourne, but I do have them sitting alongside the Sharks and Roosters as the best contenders for the team that can beat Melbourne in the big one.

Honestly, I don't know why everyone is so frantic everytime Manly get a win. What the hell is everyone going to do for the rest of the weekend with Manly playing the first game of the round?

I'd rather play the Roosters in a Semi then Manly. Survivor wake the f**k up and stop living in denial, Manly are a far better side then the Roosters, coached better imo (hence first place). Whilst the Roosters are playing well particulary defensively and coached, I think in todays game, junior players as evident by Parra, Penrith and the Roosters for that matter can play just as good as an established first grader. Players these days are exposed to better coaching hence the transition to FG alot better.

I dont buy the myth anymore of we were missing a few players blah blah as the quality of juniors coming through is better then ever, and th transition to FG imo isn't as hard if the right coach is involved, physically many are up to it eg Tony Williams, mental preperation is where coaches imo come into it.
