Not sure if this has been said

but just because a player has played in an Origin or test doesn't automatically make that person a better player.

Chris Walker has played Origin
Eric Grothe hasn't

Tell me who would you want on your team?
 Very good point

Anthony Watmough in the last 10 games (in reverse chronological order)
v Raiders - played - won
v Warriors - played - lost
v Sharks - played - lost
v Knights - played - lost
v Broncos - did not play - won
v Cowboys - did not play - lost
v Dragons - did not play - lost
v Panthers - did not play - lost
v Tigers - did not play - lost
v Bulldogs - played - lost

So he played in 5 of your last 10 games, and you won 1 game with him, and 1 game without him. The stats would appear to put no link between him playing and Manly winning.

You will find watmough took some time to get his match fitness back after his knee injury. Shouldnt really suprise those that follow league. He has gotten better each game and is getting closer to his pre injury form.

But hey, dont let facts get in the way of a good story ;)

All three played for NSW this year?

Beaver was the most capped NSW player in this years squad.

Both Beaver and Kennedy have also played test.

How many SOO or tests has Morrison or Robinson played?
how many tests and soo has beaver played at 5/8?? morrison has been playing very well I'm sure people with brains realise he is a very good player think otherwise and you'll be shown up on sunday and be telling everyone how good he is

Parra actually beat Brisbane with 15 men

Hindmarsh only played 3 mins
Vella missed the final 15-20 mins

Manly had injured players too when they beat Brisbane... And at least Manly beat Brisbane with Lockyer playing...

Brisbane without Lockyer is kind of like Newcastle without Johns, or a mouth without teeth.

Oh hang on. You are parra fans, you won't understand that one.

Riiiggghhhht. So you manage to fluke a win over the Broncos at the start of their slump and in the middle of you losing 8 games and you somehow think that means you can beat anyone? Man you are so deluded.

And you still ran 8th

For a side that came 13th last year and 14th the previous year, I'm not too unhappy with coming eighth.

Say whatever you want, but the reality is after being in the competition for not even three years after practical bankruptcy and and starting a whole side from scratch, we're in the semi - finals.

And I'm f**king over the moon about it.

Mate, I know Beaver isn't a 5/8th.

I am one of the many fans calling for Travis Burns to be promoted to the 5/8th spot as I know Monaghan isn't good enough to controll all of the sides offence. Obviously naming Steve in the six is a defensive move by Dessie. Nobody is saying he will throw cut-outs or out kick Morris. It just allows Dessie to have an extra forward on the field.

Beaver should be in the 11 where he belongs.

I rate Morrison, as a fellow Terrigal High man I've been calling for him to play reps for a while. But he is no Menzies or Kennedy. And I would rather Watmough in my side.

But..

You're taking it out of context. At the time Chris Walker played Origin he was regarded as a decent player correct?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but at the same time wasn't Eric Grothe Jnr either languishing in Premier League or on the sidelines with injury?

I was referring to whoever saidwe have three origin reps in the back row

I never knew how good morrison was until this year I would rate his form this year on par with hindy's possibly better he has been that good, his combination with tahu has been unbelivable

Fair enough.

Willow is no pushover either. His defence is on par with Beavers. With the Beav playing 5/8th and Willow in the 11, we definetly do not lose any defensive strength.

I can't wait. I'll be there, 20 metre line on the concourse:D

I'd rather a win against Brisbane with Lockyer than without.

With the way some of you are carrying on I hope we beat you this week and whoever has you next puts you right out of the finals. I can only imagine the crying on here for a whole off season if it happens. waaa waaa waaa... It would like Jamie Lyon walking out all over again.

You're one in a million Hurri. That means there are six thousand people exactly like you.
The funny thing is they all support Parramatta.

On a good day you are a half wit.
