There is a decent arguement I suppose but what does that matter? The cowboys made the top 4 a few years ago SOLEY upon Thurston and Bowen. Take one out, they fail. Take the other out, they fail. Take both out they fail. Both in however and they could beat anyone in the comp, regardless of who else was in the team. However you can win, just take it.

Stewart is signed long-term and doesnt have a history of injury or with the judiciary (like on of the other leading fullbacks I can think of). I'm fine with us being labelled a 'one-man team'.

You guys are drawing the conclusions. I never brought up the grand final.
This thread is not insulting, its based on my observation that Manly have gone 4 rounds without a win and when Stewart was reinstated, they won. Its a strong correlation based on fact. Is it taboo to discuss it in an intelligent manner without being offended?

Its unfortunate Manly are a touchy lot, given what has transpired over the last month.
If i wasn't a Storm fan, would the corpse of 2008 GF be brought up at all, I think not.

And as for the topic, Manly were rubbish when Orford was out for a couple of games last year; they were even more rubbish than they were for the 1st three games last week when Lyon wasn't there; I would bet they would be rubbish without Kite or Watmough.
