1 - Former players Jason Ferris and Brendan Reeves have taken up captain coach positions in the Illawarra premiership and will be opposing halfbacks this season.Ferris is captain coach of Collegians and Reeves at Western Suburbs.Former Sea Eagle and Cronulla
Shark Wade Forrester has come out of retirement and will join Ferris at Collegians.
2 - The Andrew Frew sentenced to a long gaol sentence in Wollongong yesterday on a serious charge IS NOT the Andrew Frew who played on the wing for the Northern Eagles.
That Andrew Frew will play with St.George in the 2004 season and we wish him well.
3 - Former players Matt Hill,Jim Serdaris and
Craig Field will continue their careers in France in 2004.Hill,who played for the Sea
Eagles last season and is a Mona Vale junior is with the Perpingnon club while Field and Serdaris are playing for Pia.
4 - Last season's prop Danny Lima has settled in well with English club Warrington and sends his regards to all his friends at Brookvale.
5 - Chad Randall is recovering well from a groin operation and expects to play in the final trial against South Sydney at Wynnum Manly on February 28.

made a big impression in their debut matches for the Jersey Flegg side in a trial last weekend.So too did Matthew Shield centre Jared Mooney from Wagga.
10 - The new scoreboard is a week or two away from being erected at Brookvale Oval.
The new corporate facilities at the scoreboard end of the ground have been completed including the box to house the computers for the new scoreboard. - Admin
