not too bad......hopefully we can dominate in the forwards, if we can't then it may be a looooooong afternoon

Well here's hoping with Hoppa getting his chance again he can play some good footy.....and keep his trap shut on the field!

What MQ said. I'd hate to see that backline defending for 80 minutes if the forwards aren't dominating.

How come Heckenberg isnt starting? He was a real workhorse for you blokes year round last year. Silly move in my opinion.

Both packs are huge.

Hecks is on the bench so that king can show the mongrel early. Kite is slightly bigger and has a similar game to Hecks.

the first 20 minutes will be one of the best clashes in the season.

As for our forwards being annialated - i dont think that will happen. 2 former Aus players (1 last year), 1 SOO last year, 1 city/country last year and 1 2003 origon squad member who was injured a lot since then but not recently.

Id say they will stack up well. I expect Kylie to be after a test call up - watch out price and Wiki. Both packs are good.

Im getting so excited just to watch this.

I remember Hoppa last time he was at Ericsson, and he was everywhere on the field, definitely the best player on the day.
Also with Terry Hill signed and sealed, he'll lift your players just by being there.

I think we (the Warriors) will win, they have a lot to repay the fans for after last year, but it won't be all plain sailing that's for sure.

Good luck to both teams, be great to see some footy at long last :)

Hope to see a packed Ericsson with plenty of Kiwi Manly fans showing their colours on the day

Lets hope that Price and Wiki get a bit 'lost' in their new surroundings long enough for Manly to take control. [-o<

Great post, despite your prediction of the result...your sportsmanlike post sure as hell beats the cocky tripe being posted in the Warriors section about this game.

I just hope it is a close game, with plenty of good attacking footy and no injuries...

Cocky?

No, its called having a laugh. If you get all caught up over it, not our issue.

We've been through a rough time at our club - the one thing you can't lose sight of is enjoying the game through having a joke. Whether it be at your own club's expense, or your visitors expense.
