Which part of the code/which files control the use of the home/alternate strips. And whether it is possible to have the visiting team always play in their alternate jersey. If they know how to do that can you tell me how. I have the best created away jerseys that never get used.

Just copy the jerseys over the top of the ones the team currently uses. Make sure you back them up first, or you'll lose em.

You don't seem to understand. When Parramatta plays Cronulla I want Cronulla to play in the away jersey at Parramatta Stadium and Parra to be in the away jersey at Toyota Park automatically, I know it can be done.

If it can, it won't be easy. The code checks the strips and decides if there is a clash - if it detects that there is, it will ask the away team to use their alternate strip and check again. If it still thinks there is, it will ask the home team to use their alternate and the away team to use their default and then check again. If there is still a clash, it will get both teams to use their alternate and check one last time. If there is still a clash, both teams will use their primary strips.

Pretty sure that's how it works, anyway :)

Well how does it detect the similarities? By similiar colour numbers (255,255,255 is white) in a certain area of the strip. I thought it was in the data files because of the way changing jerseysfrom the default seemed to give no difference.

I have a custom team that is the only team that changes causes Parramatta to change, They have a patch of blue on them, but so does at least two other custom teams that won't change.

thats the only way i could think of it happening...maybe u could trick it in2 thinking they clash..

Exactly but how is that done. That's why I wanted them to ask the designers what the exact criteria is to change a strip.

I think it is if pixel in position (x,y) is colour within the range of the same pixel in the other then they change. Gotta find out the places that my two teams have similar colours in the same places.

Does this sound reasonable?

It's a database flag. Each team has a primary and secondary color listed in the database and it is these numbers that the process i described is peformed on. So, in reality, it would be possible to change these - once you find 'em :)

I'll look at it tomorrow, after the Parramatta home jersey there should be three numbers that would indicate I'd say yellow maybe blue.
