Marlins and DB present...WWE 2011

With Wrestlemania passing by, it seems another year of watching, waiting and reminiscing is upon us as any hope we had of wrestling returning to the heights it once was reaching, flickers away into the abyss that is reality. Where Hogan once bodyslammed Andre the Giant, where Mike Tyson once smooshed Shawn Michaels in the face and where the Rock once captivated millions worldwide with but a slight raise of the eyebrow, now stands a corporate powerhouse which despite the impressive financial figures, fails to captivate the imaginations it once had a billion year lease on.

Until now.

Folks, you may not have heard, but after Wrestlemania 27, Vince McMahon and WWE creative called an audible, holding an impromptue draft whereby all WWE talent except the WWE and World Heavyweight Champions were told to pack their bags and be prepared to move at the drop of a dime. Both Raw and Smackdown stars were up from grabs, from Heavyweights, to highfliers, divas to tag teams, managers to leprachauns, nobody was safe.

The formate would see each general manager draft ten superstars alternativly, with the rest being randomly allocated a show. Here are the results from said draft:

The WWE also noted that starting May onwards, the WWE would revert to its split brand system, whereby all but four of the pay per views would be run individually as opposed to shared. Here is the PPV format agreed to by both Raw and Smackdown:

May: Backlash (Raw)
June: The Great American Bash (SD)
July: Badd Blood (Raw)
Aug: Summerslam (joint)
Sep: Money in the Bank (SD)
Oct: Unforgiven (Raw)
Nov: Survivor Series (joint)
Dec: Judgement Day (SD)
Jan: Royal Rumble (joint)
Feb: Armageddon (Raw)
Mar: No Mercy (SD)
Apr: Wrestlemania (joint)

We start the first episode of Raw after Wrestlemania....

This will be good.
I liked RAWS ME scene alot better than SD. I just hope Sheamus doesnt get shoved upto ME status.

However, Smackdown have much the better undercard.
Looking forward to how you utlize Sin Cara, Yoshi Tatsu and Evan Bourne.
