My quess.

He will play an Off-season rugby in Japan ...then comeback and activate an already arranged deal with either

Titans
Or
NZ rugby

Im pretty sure it will be Titans - his missus is a socialite - and wants to be famous from all reports

I think you're right there MMM, you could perhaps add the Broncos to that list since Norman is leaving and Wallace won't be too far behind leaving Red Hill as well

And you can tell he's pussy whipped. He'll go where she says she wants to live, and I doubt that's Auckland.

Or Brisbane for that matter.

It's Sydney or bust for those types of socialites.

Oh, maybe Melbourne, but then he'd be a considerable nobody there and, as a result, so would she.

She might find the right scene at the London Broncos. Rugby in Paris, maybe.

Did he have to announce it just before we play the Tiggas, so they're nice n fired up?

Why do we always seem to be up against a team thats had some motivational shit thrown at them just before?! ;-)

Did Kearney know something a while back when he dropped him as Kiwis Captain? Or was it he was just playing sh!te?

Personally, I think Benji has served his time, done his duty and is free to do whatever he wants. I think it would be disappointing for him to retire to rugby and miss the accolades he may have got if retiring from league. But his form might have meant a fairly ignominious dropping to reserve grade and a don't come monday letter in the near future. Then he wouldn't have been able to ask for much then from Rugby.

All I can say, is good luck to him and I mean that.

I agree...I'd prefer him to stick to RL but he can do what he wants and at least is doing everything the correct way. *Cough*$BW*Cough*
Good luck to him.

Good news, the weather in Sydney today is pretty miserable. This will dampen spirits (and probably turnout) on the famed Leichhardt hill.

No doubt a bumper crowd was predicted on clear night for a Benji spectacular. Not sure there'll be such a party now.

Wow... That's almost sad..

There's nothing better than seeing a jam packed suburban sydney ground.

with the great players in both sides you would think the game deserves a full house.
