Let's be clear Bary Hall would send Mason packing and I was looking forward to seeing Willy cop it. I respect his attitude to back himself but until he does it's all hot air.
I find it suspicious that Gould openly criticised Folkes coaching in their last match last season and then Willy walks citing Folkes is a dud.. yep, engineered by the biggest white ant in NRL history in my opinion.. it's obvious if you look for it.. Gould always gets the first news in when he can- just like on the Sunday Roast a week before Wing signed with South Sydney he stated Wing WILL go to South Sydney- the ego is enormous.
It's sad the NRL registered his contract to go to the Roosters who were over the cap, I guess when they signed off on O'Meley's contract which put the Roosters over the cap they didn't care either. It's obvious and a shame the NRL doesn't seek proof from clubs when signing such large contracts that they will be kept under the salary cap.. a stupid situation so sides like the Roosters can offer 500K a year to Folau to scare off other clubs and worry about meeting the payments and coming under the salary cap later. If you can't fit them in at the time you shouldn't be allowed to sign them- simple.
