Would hazard a guess a couple of the players of the so called 4 are Reni and Tonga.

Surprise surprise those 3 were the ones talking it up the most before a Canterbury game and more ofthen than not they lost.

Might be short term pain for long term gain for the bulldogs if they were to follow Willie if he does leave.

All were way below their best this year, busy partying at nightclubs.

Give me a Dallas Johnson or an Alan Tongue anyday.

I have always hated the Bulldogs, but I love Willie Mason, I think he is good for the game and Bulldogs would be stupid to let go of him. He is a real character and can always get people thinking about Rugby League, he is fun to watch and fun to follow, even if you follow his story just because you hate him he sure draws a crowd, and it would make a lot of sense if sponsors were to pull out if the dogs lost him because let's be fair, he gives Bulldogs most of the publicity they get

True he does give Canterbury a lot of publicity,a lot of publicity I reckon the Canterbury club good do without.

funny that we havent heard anything from souths yet.... i would expect PHaC to be all over this.

perhaps having willie and kidwell in the same club would be a bridge too far...

mason dosnt fit in souths "no dickheads" policy.

plus, souths are all capped up. Wing took up a chunk as does Galuvao. also, other fat contracts like Hegarty's limit what souths can afford.

After watching this develop and being away from the forums for a few days... I'm just sick of it and hope Willie's decision is made soon. If he stays, he needs a good kick in the rear and to not act like he's the big sh*t. If he goes, good, LOL@MASON for being a knob. We'll miss him but we'll cover for him, no issues there. Not phased either way.

pretty dirty thing for willie to do, but if his beef is with noad the club really can't do much with it.
wasn't Noad appointed by the NRL after all the drama off the field a few years back.

And so far he's done a pretty reasonable job. It's not Noad - it's the entire board and until now Willie has never made it known if it's Noad in particular who he doesn't like.

I'm still interested to know which bullsh*t media writer came up with this $50k figure...?
