The more I see of this crap the less I worry. There are so many u-turns, misinformation and contradiction along with blatant screw ups from all parties that it all just seams to be turning into a big joke.

Cluster Fk from start to finish.

You think the AFL will allow their 45 players to be banned?

Not a chance in f**king hell, if that article is accurate then it will come down to an amnesty, of sorts.

There we go, as i have said from the start bring it on ASADA you have nothing, you tried the bluff move in poker you have a bigger stack of chips you said all in, thinking we would fold sorry we are calling you on it, and guess what you have nothing.

And bring on September 14

Despite the farcical way this has been handled, I think its very premature to say that we will get through this unscathed.

My tip is that a certain amount of players, possibly all 14, will be stood down. They will then fight the matter out in court (and could well win - given ASADA's history of procedural stuff-ups, and the apparent stuff ups in this investigation).

But that will mean jack for this season, and the club is going to be left with huge legal bills.

But I think the club, if it is managed in a sensible, creative and prudent manner, will survive this and will remain in the shire for the foreseeable future.

Just got to ride this one out for now.

I agree with this. I'm not one for wishful thinking and until it's ALL put to bed I won't be cracking open the Bollinger.

There's no way ASADA, ACC or whoever went into this on a hunch. They have somethng for sure

Nobody will lose a minute of game time.

There are NO blood samples.

There is NO hard evidence.

They are relying solely on:
phone taps
credit card records
blokes owning up.

The ramifications of suspending an innocent bloke who did not put ONE suspect solution into his body are huge......Financially and for the future 'credibility'of ASADA.

They will have their tail between their legs because they need a suspension to save face - especially after coming out all guns blazing.

Therefore it will get hotter in the kitchen before it gets cooler, so expect more scary media, plus the threats to increase - but when interviews start and the players start playing Private Schultz it'll be over quicker than a first root.

Face the facts here. This story started as WW3. The initial announcement was the sky is falling. We have seen nothing. And from that nothing we have seen, law suits are progressing. Come on, they are fishing and failing. Right along side the media.

Will we get hurt?, no doubt.
Will we lose 14 players?, gonna say no.

I was in panic mode, now I'm not. I'm happy with that to get some sleep.

ASADA reps going back to people to inform them that they don't actually have that power. Funny as hell.

Do you have evidence that they don't have evidence?

Does anyone?

Mate.
The ACC can't pass on information to any organisation, that is devoid of illegality. Therefore, if ACC passes on information about any players taking legal peptides or cheating on their wives, its game over. no bannings. Tapped phone calls. Receipts. Video evidence. interview evidence. ASADA cannot go near that stuff if it contains no illegality.
Can the state police or federal police? Well they have to find an illegality? GST avoidance on purcahase perhaps? In correct importation declaration? That is the level of straws they will be clutching at.

Next ASADA
ASADA cannot force interview anybody. The nrl integrity commision is the only one that can enforce co-operation. No current player contracts containb clauses for the integrity commission. REmember all players contracts are ratified by the NRL & must include NRL clauses for participation in the NRL . No Clause for integrity commission. It was not ratified by the players association if they say its there, so , its not.

Essendon
Obvifously the NRL got wind of what was happeing with the prime ministers beards favourite sport. The NRL are seething with all of this. This is a business run by business minded people not opportiunistic lefties. They are seething.

When the good guys worth $15 grand a day get a hold of this, we will be fine.

Another point is ASADA cannot lay any charges, they have to approach the NFL with evidence and it goes before them.

Evidence i would say none, if they did we would have had players stood down long ago, this is a typical government stuff up, it is getting so bad now they will need to find something else to attack to keep ASADA off the front page, 457 visa's come on down

There doesnt seem.to be an issue with manly players, obviously because nobody will talk to them.

The sharks on the otherhand have spoken.to former asada employees, and have whistle blower elkins info to asada to deal with.

Exactly, blah blah blah.

By the way, if someone is guilty (for real) .... Who delivers the verdict?

Anyone know the answer??

I do :)
