I am getting my hopes up. He is coming back. Fullback or 5/8th. The best part is having back as our goal kicker. Peachey, Rogers, Raper . . . they won something before didn't they?

It would be great to have him back.. Not only as a 5/8 but also a Goalkicker.. The way Bailey is performing at the moment, i would be quite happy to see him come back at the expense of Bailey.. Imagine the backline -
1. Peachey
2. Merritt
3. Vagana
4. Franze/Kent/Saleh/McGoldrick
5. Rieck
6. Rogers
7. Kimmorley

Pretty good if you ask me.

All we need is a forward pack to go with them!

If Rogers came back to the Sharks, surely he should be considered for the fullback role? His time in Union has shown that he is great when acting as a support runner, he can trail off ball players anywhere on the field, his kick returns are excellent, and he can be a back up kicker in general play - similar to the way Lockyer played at fullback.

If anything, perhaps Peachey should be played at five eighth? Peachey likes to run across field and put players into gaps, so that role would suit him more.

I'd hate to see him leave at Peachey's expense. Peach is playing better this year than last.

Sure, Rogers would be a better fullback, when fit, but Peach has stuck around. Rogers fled (for whatever reason) and I'd hate to see a good club man be ditched for an injury-prone defector.

But I would sure love to see room for both of them

When Peachey signed this contract Rogers indicated that the club thought that would see himthrough the end of playing days with the Sharks.

That was then
and this is now

And Peach doesnt have any guarantees that he will be at the club next season
He will be judged on form and how his body is holding up

I hope that he is a one-club player myself and I reckon he will be
