The judiciary plays the man, not the ball. Always have and always will.
Matai did deserve his suspension but so did Lowe. If anything moreso because their was no jersey up over Brett's head so he had clear sight of what he was trying to hit.

I admire Matai's ability and yeah, I somewhat admire his aggression at certain times but Oval mentioned this a few posts back...what is the story with this continually going down with a crook neck/shoulder.

I don't watch that many Manly games but when I do I just wait for it for to happen, it is as regular as clockwork, you'd swear the medicab was going to be called for in the first five minutes for him and then he plays the remainder of the game without seemingly suffering any problems. I ain't having a go at the bloke, I just laugh cause it happens every game. What is the injury?

Anyway, good luck for the Grand Final, personally I am happy the Warriors got into the GF, I think it will be a much better spectacle for us to watch. I suppose every Manly supporter would love another 40 blot score line but for league fans, the closer the score the better the game. Should be good.

From memory he has chronic nerve damage in his right shoulder. Hence why the pain only lasts for a short amount of time.
