118 to win

we take that at the start

easy win coming up OR or a nail biting finish going either way?

He fails. And you can see here how pivotal 6th drop is to a batting line up.

I find this ironic given where CDG typically bats in tests and most equal so far in his odi career with 5th drop; given all the praise his innings in this t20 is getting.

But #8 in t20 is less vital in t20 than odi. CDG bats higher in t20 due to his higher sr and Santners lack of big hitting. But still ironic nevertheless.

Seems fair @TheParraboy

Happy for CDG TBH. NZC took its sweet time to entrust him to be in the team. There's always been a school of thought he's an Eden Park 2 flat track bully. I genuinely feel he's a good bat. Yes he's a hitter, but technically he's quite a good bat.

Stanlake basically bowls four overs and fields in the outfield for about 90 minutes.....they would have training sessions more intense than that. Very precious and stupid decision by CA and not good for the young bowlers development and confidence.
