You can see AD have really put in over the off-season Maybe we need to get behind him.
As far as I'm concerned it's a new chapter. Innocent until proven guilty.
His goal kicking is solid too.
To'a should be fit and has an upside.
Maybe our centres can hold their own but AD tends to get burnt on the outside so cover has to be on their game.
If AD get drawn in, he is suspect in head on D.
Only effort from him will stop the naysayers.

Hope was also really really good. It's interesting though isn't it. It's also only one game.
Benji said whoever works the hardest and has the desire over the off-season will be rewarded.
Trialling well musr have tipped the scales too.
I was thinking earlier that he is a guy that won't stop and won't give in. I like that and have put others on notice.

I've seen Turuva play some very good footy at fullback when he played for Fiji. Not a playmaking type fullback but was extremely safe and ran the ball hard...kinda what we want from a fill in type fullback. In saying that, Im ok with Mason having a trot.

Turova or staines should be fullback over mason. Mason has potential but he is nowhere near a first grade fullback, the guy refuses to contest a bomb! Benjis youth obsession will cost us.

Agree, especially after our last game, last season, we need a positive start.
The start of the season is not the place to give young blokes ago, because they are young.
I don't think it is even his preferred position.

Good point about Bird. He is so competitive, and people have underestimated his worth.
If we have to, we might find him in the centres in the second half.

The first photo of Hunt.
Could you imagine him running at you full speed to the try line and you have to stop him hahaha
Seyfarth looks super fit in those pics

The last two are going to struggle. If AD has a good year he'll either be retained or go back to Souths with Wayne.

Does that mean their contacts expire at the end of this season TM, or are they contracted until the end 2026 but are allowed to negotiate because of the dumbarse year in advance rule the NRL use?

TBH I think we can do without all of those guys. There's no-one there I'd be falling over myself to keep.

End of this year, as I seen it.

Mason is a pain to watch at times at fullback but so was Jarream for most of last year …hopefully Luai is talking to mason about how they can work together to get mason through some gaps..Luai won’t have seen that kind of acceleration before and will see it as something to utilise

The only reason Jarream took on the responsibility of carrying that pipe of water in the “survive or thrive” video was coz he thought god was great.. but he wasn’t that day boyo .. and “sorry lads” isn’t good enough ..

I was thinking the same that they are all disposable although I’d like to see what Naden can deliver this season coz as dumb as he can be he does have the physical attributes to earn another contract

Agree, he's got that mongrel that we desperately need, they just need to control it.
I read somewhere; he has calmed down with the birth of his new baby?

Benji’s key instruction to superstar recruit

“There’s no pressure on them to be the greatest in the competition in round one. We want them to do their jobs, keep it simple, and play the footy we want to play.
--------------------
Ahm, NO Benji, we want early success, FFS.
