Taylor's coaching career is on the line & if he intends to b @ concord in '18 albeit very slim chance he can ill afford to select bums like Rankin.I also suggest that he substitutes Felise for the other impostor Edwards

Based on who u saw @ captains run in that foxsorts report i'd b leaning towards Chee-kam on bench instead of Edwards.

Maybe Suli is earmarked as a long term goal kicker but JT doesn't want to pile on that much pressure too early? The goal posts are exactly the same in SG ball as they are in NRL so surely he will eventually take over duties.

Moses injury will likely hamper him in this game so I doubt he will be kicking goals.

Late Mail: Tigers coach Jason Taylor has confirmed star halves Luke Brooks and Mitch Moses as certain starters for Friday’s opening round clash against South Sydney. Moses (ankle) and Brooks (hamstring) received treatment during the week, but Taylor said both players will take on the Rabbitohs.

Star recruit Jamal Idris will also play despite nursing a niggling knee injury, which requires strapping. Taylor also confirmed 18-year-old outside back Moses Suli could make his NRL debut against Souths. Suli, who is on a reported $1 million dollar contract, has excelled this pre-season and is considered the future of the Tigers.

This is awesome. I want to see good decisions made by Taylor this season. I can't stand the guy but all I care about is winning games and I could accept him being re-signed if he just gets things right this season. I know it's one out of three seasons and he has been hopeless but I just want to have a good season this year.

I jumped too early on this. He has stated could rather than will. This isn't a hard decision to make. Suli has to be picked.

Do you really have that much confidence in him. I honestly don't. I think it's an easy decision and it looks like Suli will be on the wing but I wouldn't be surprised to see Rankin there tomorrow.

Funny thing Is I don't have the confidence in Taylor but I can see y he would have named Rankin to begin with
