Happy with the first half. Defence held up even though not too much thrown at us, and attack was a bit sloppy but had some good signs, weather doesn’t help.

We don't look tired at all. The intensity of our first minute was the same as the 40th. Confidence seems high. We don't look like we are chasing the win. Looks like we are just going to play our game and the win will come to us.

Shibasaki can have that right centre spot. He was great.

Impressed with our defence and especially line speed, attack will come and today wasn't the best conditions for that either. I feel like Shibasaki might have cemented his spot for the immediate future. Hopefully we see more of that from Jacob Saifiti as well

I was at the game. Shibs had a blinder, killed it in defence and was a handful in attack. I didn’t feel that usual sense of apprehension when a team would attack our edges.

Barnett, Herman and Jacob Saifiti in particular just went to another level, Dan and Klem delivered what you’d expect.

Probably the best thing for me is the game strategy didn’t just revolve around passing it to Ponga. Our forwards were doing some ball playing and it was a really cohesive team effort. Not just one out efforts.

I was there also.

Everything you say is true.

I thought I saw some real effort from Fitzy out there today. Was the quietest of our starting forwards but was an improvement on last year.

Hunt looked 5 years younger. I loved how he celebrated so hard at the end there. Shivers right there.

During the O’Brien press conference a reporter mentioned this was the first time we’ve held a team to 0 in 6 years. Didn’t realise it was that long. Great effort.

That was a real professional performance from our guys yesterday. The effort was there in all the little areas which was great to see, especially defensively even when the game is we just about over to see Lee and Hunt both come up with big tackles to deny a try on both wings was especially pleasing.

The best bit is that no-one had a shocker, everyone did their job and it was a complete team performance.
