Yep Sione slipped over as he was slow to get back then had to try change direction quickly to get back in position

60 pretty good minutes and then 20 diabolical minutes. The top teams would've put 40 on them.

I'm sad to see Ese'ese go - I think we'll miss him. Saulo had some nice touches but still has a kid mentality. With Glasby retiring I'd think about buying another middle forward.

either Ponga gets a kicking coach or we find someone who can kick. Big games are often won by only a point or so....Ponga is nowhere near where he needs to be on this.

Pathetic last quarter. All started with Mann throwing the desperate on 1; 30 out, after Souths mistake. Loses the advantage and Rabbits score within a minute.

Then the incompetence multiplied til the siren.

Deserved to lose after a solid 60, and almost perfect first half.

Let's look on the bright side, we're not playing to our potential and after a first half a season with 1 day turn arounds travelling to games and we are still FOURTH on the ladder .....

Thing is, those are unforgivable mistakes that he makes consistently. He's pedestrian in attack also. No good running a "good line" if your runs lack impact.

This. Amazing how big a turning point this was.

And as has been mentioned, how long do we persist with Ponga as a kicker. Either practice, or let someone else do it. Not up to first grade standard. For a freak who does the impossible, his goalkicking, defence and occasionally his catching under the high ball is ordinary.

On another note, geez Hymel Hunt is good value. He had one error at the end, but every week he puts in a dependable and reliable shift. Love the bloke. Almost as much as Bradman.

Yep his goal kicking has not improved at all, it may have gotten worse and will cost us....it nearly did tonight.

Ponga's catching of the high ball - as I've mentioned before he has an unusual technique of tucking his legs under the body. This invites the defense into his space and often leads to a nasty hit from a defender or the ground.

Slater would stick a leg out, a defender ran the risk of getting a boot to the face ( and this did happen ) if they got near him, great technique.

Lino is the best in 2 leagues, but yeah the sentiment. (Crossland for Mann, Hoy for Mann; more likely.)

He's just about our only kicker. I think Hunt is a handy kicker as well....not sure bout that.

Great, great, great win. How good was that. Not a perfect game by any stretch of the imagination but so many positives.

- kept them scoreless and clueless for 60 minutes
- Ponga and Pearce doing great again
- Barnett was perfect tonight
- managed to win a tight game
- Tuala and Best look like a formidable combination both in attack and defense
- we beat a team we lost 9 games out of the last 10

Not perfect but so many positives. We have been wooden spooners for the past decade but this year we look like a solid top 6 maybe even top 4 side. I have no complaints.

I've tried to give Sione the benefit of the doubt but he is the worst wrestler in the NRL. Whilst his contact in defence is good he's always very slow getting up from the tackle which either leads to 6 again calls or a big gap behind the ruck where he should be standing and if you notice when he's trying to get back on side he's always got his back turned

I still don’t know what his strengths are. He’s an absolute liability at times.

We are coming fourth for f**k sake. How long has it been since we have been in this position half way through the season? Still not good enough for you lot.

We have a great second half of the draw. We will only get better. Those blokes with more time together - the three tries at the end won’t be a problem in the future because they would have done better than 20 points in the first 60 minutes.

I know I’m sounding all Yoshy... but there is plenty to be excited about. Get on f**king board!

Teams won't derp it up the way south's did for the 1st 60 minutes also there are many things that aren't isolated to last night's game but are repeat issues
