The big positive about this years side over the past two years is that at least these guys do give a shit about their performances. They have not given up once over the first eleven weeks as a unit.....I'll give them credit for that. They genuinely try their rings out every week.....the roster is just not there at the moment. We'll get the spoon this year and I'll feel sad for them....unlike the bludging sides of the past two years.

After 10 games last season, we had conceded exactly the same amount of points as this year (226). If we keep losing, the floodgates will open yet again.

Benji pretty much said if players can't get their act together we will need to get players who will.
I won't be surprised to see players being dropped more often this season with hopefully a number of roster changes next year. Don't know who they will be able to attract though.

We're light on for outside backs. We might even see Kepaoa back in the centres with Isaiah's suspension finished. We're definitely stuck with Bud at half. Fainu has been unsighted since his hamstring strain and might not get a run before Sezer comes back.

For next year, it's a good thing we got Turuva, because there's not a lot of quality off contract. Tuala and Cotric might be the pick of the bunch, but they'll get their contracts squared away shortly. Might have to see if we can convince some QLD Cup lads like Manase Kaho and Jordan Lipp to come down.

It’d be good to see kapaoa develop at centre. . Hes had a bit of time now to mature and maybe feel more comfortable with what he brings to the position....I thought he looked threatening today with no brain fades of old

100%. Frankly, Im amazed it hasn't happened already. But, if we keep f**king up in attack, it will eventually break us in defence.

I think/hope our 2 new signings for next year will help with that.
For me, another centre and a FR is priority.
I said it earlier, I thought the dogs cup side, had better players than some of FG team.
We were down on troops yesterday, but that wasn’t the problem, it the silly mistakes they are making.
I like Naden’s mongrel, but f**k, he does some dumb shit that’s costing us.

Skelton would absolutely walk into our first grade side.

At least we won't have to wait long until we know Naden has been dropped. Maybe for the rest of the season.

I’m not sure whether we won that either…f**k we’re shit‼️
Our stats other than the sin bins and number of tackles in oppositions 20 without converting points were pretty good.

We need to get some depth in our attack in the oppositions 20. The flatness of our attack makes us very predictable and too many players are catching the ball standing still or with opposition players in our faces. Galvin was a little too lateral, he needs to straighten his play up a bit so that he is creating room on the outside rather than pushing the guys outside him toward the sideline. There were a few times where the Forbes Fiat 500 got the ball in good attacking positions and came back inside without challenging the defence, to be fair he may have been bundled out each and everyone of those times, but every now and then you’ve got to take them on.

I really think a bit of added depth and we start scoring tries. The two games we won we threw a bit at them with a bit more depth.

API’s service has been a bit ordinary from dummy half, I’m not a fan of 10-15m passes from dummy half in the attacking 20, if the ball doesn’t hit the mark the play is destroyed and Api hasn’t been hitting the mark with those balls, I think a lot of that comes down to him giving 110% and being fatigued but it doesn’t help us when the passes are over the shoulder or at ankle height

Even when the pass hits the mark, the pass can be quite loopy getting there which gives the defence more time to rush up. Compare this the crispness of Mozer's delivery from dummy half. Benji needs to let Simpkin onto the field to give Api a break.

Yea that’s a mystery to me 1 why Api can’t pass better and 2 why Benji doesn’t fix it ..Benjis normally big on the quick pass.. ask Damien Cook
